Kits are sold by tumbler size.  Grit included uses the ratio of 1 ounce of pellets(vary in color) and 1 ounce of each step 1, 2, and 3 per pound of tumbler size and 1/2 ounce of each step 4, 5, and 6 per pound of tumbler size.  Example: A 6 step- 10 pound rock tumbler kit will have 10 oz of pellets, 10oz of step 1,2, and 3 and 5oz of step 4, 5 and 6.

 We offer a full range of silicon carbide grit (36, 60/90, 120/220, 500, 600, 400/600, 1200 and 1500) and aluminum oxide (400/600, 1,200, 1,500, and 12,000).

These can be purchased individually in any weight denomination that fits your needs or we have pre-made kits for your specific size tumbler. We have kits available with or without plastic pellets(pellets vary in color).
